Question:

I have A base plate on a 05 Volkswagen convertible. Its wondering if I could take that bass plate off and put it on a 07 Honda Fit. Its one that I got from you guys.

I can't say for certain without knowing what base plates they are, but I can say it's highly unlikely that the base plates from your Volkswagen is going to fit onto your Honda Fit.

I can say, however, that the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2252 will fit your 07 Honda Fit. This is going to be custom to your Fit and will just bolt up to the chassis of the vehicle using the included hardware.

I'm not sure what you have already, but you're also going to need a set of tow bars like # e47ZR, a braking system like # BLU37TR, and a wiring harness like # RM-15267.
