Im trying determine which custom wiring kit to buy for my toad. The two Im looking at are the Hopkins 56300 and the Tow Daddy 3012SK. It states that with installing the TD3012SK you do not need to install a brake relay. Is this the case for the Hopkins 56300 also?

The Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56300 that fits your 2010 Honda CR-V does require a brake light relay # RM-88400 when used with a supplemental braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
