To flat tow your 2014 Honda CR-V AWD you will need the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-521567-5

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.

I looked online and you will need to pull one or two fuses during towing. You will want to check your owner's manual for which specific fuses need to be pulled. If your owner's manual says to only pull the #19 ACC radio fuse, you can use item # RM76511. If it says to pull the #19 ACC radio fuse and the #20 ACC key lock fuse you can use item # RM76512. These are fuse bypasses that allow you to flip a switch and disable them instead of having to remove them from the fuse box every time you flat tow. These are optional parts but they will make this step more convenient.

I also found the following flat towing set up steps online:

1. Check the transmission fluid level. Make sure the fluid level is between the upper and lower marks.
2. Start the engine.
3. Depress the brake pedal. Move the shift lever through all its positions.
4. Shift to D and hold for five seconds, then to N. Let the engine run for three minutes, then turn it off.
5. Release the parking brake.
6. Leave the ignition switch in ACCESSORY. Make sure the steering wheel does not lock.
7. Turn off all the electric devices. Do not use any accessory power sockets. This can prevent the battery from running down.

Honda also states that the car should not be towed faster than 65 mph and that the transmission fluid should be changed every 2 years or every 30K miles.
