Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real brief look at these Roadmaster replacement Base Pins with Chains and Clips for Tow Bars. Now, this is going to replace the pins used to secure your Roadmaster tow bar to your base plate or quick disconnect. And on your screen, I am including the tow bars from Roadmaster that this is going to work with. This is going to work with your Blackhawk 2 All-Terrain, your Falcon 2, your Falcon All-Terrain, your Nighthawk All-Terrain, and then your Sterling All-Terrain.
Now, let me go ahead and just give you some overall measurements, so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. Let me begin by giving you the overall length of the pin, so lining that up here on my ruler. As you can see, we are sitting right at four and seven eighths inches long on the overall. And then looking at the measurement of the usable length, I'm gonna be measuring from the bottom of the head here to the center of our hole for our clip. And as you can see, we are sitting right at three and three eighths inches on that usable length.
And the overall diameter is three quarters of an inch. And you're going to receive what you see here on my table before me. You're gonna get these two pins with these chains and clips. Now, this is the direct replacement from Roadmaster. So what that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of your original, whether one of them got damaged, or one of them got misplaced.

We had an issue with our older tow bar and a new base plate kit for our Jeep being compatible. Noah and Sam were great in getting us the right base pins to fit. It could have been frustrating, but they made it easy.
Customer service extremely helpful. Someone had borrowed one of my pins at a campground, so getting home was a bit tricky. Ordered a new set from etrailer and received extremely fast. Back on the road and storing pins when now camping!!!
Did the job. You can find parts at a big box store. My question is, are they the right parts? Towing a car or trailer is safe IF!! You have the right quality equipment . I get my towing equipment from people who know what they are doing. etrailer

My review is more directed toward etrailer support. The replacement pins were as advertised. Etrailer gives outstanding support and response to purchased articles. I have never had a problem. The shipping times are fantastic.
First, received the package and upon opening, found that the linch pins were missing. One phone call and issue was resolved and replacement items were being expedited to me. Appears the box came open on one end during shipment and parts came out before carrier retaped the tear. Good on E-Trailer for outstanding and prompt customer service! Now, the Sterling All Terrain towbar - very impressive unit as I had bought this on reputation only as no dealers had any in stock (they say it is too costly to carry in store). Very well made, excellent finish and welds. Instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. I like that when you purchase this unit, it is a “total package”. There is nothing I could see that is cheaply made - all quality. This was my first purchase from E-trailer, and based on how this order went start to finish, and having to deal with missing parts on an order - I am very pleased and will deal with them in the future.

The clips work great, but I damaged the tow bar beyond repair and had to replace it.
One Dee Ten Tee error on my part.

Exact replacement. Great customer service support and the item arrived quickly.
Overall, the tow package that you installed on my Ford Maverick is great. Matching my previous Blue Ox brake unit to the Maverick was tricky. Although I have it dialed in. I appreciate all that Bob and his team did to make my 2025 Maverick one of the first to be towable in the USA.

Roadmaster products have always served me well and these pins are no exception. A friend of my had his pins stolen from his towed vehicle just before leaving for vacation. I gave him mine and bought these to replace them. Lesson learned. Never leave you pins in the brackets on your dinghy. They will probably get stolen.
