Can Valterra Waste Valve T58 be Upgraded so that it's Permanent Install

Question:
I’m currently using the Valterra t58 twist on valve. I’d like to upgrade to a permanent valve. Can I swap the twist on fitting and install the t1005 slip fitting on my existing valve?

Yes, you could remove the twist on side of the Valterra Waste Valve part # T58 that you have now and replace it with the part # T1005 so that you could make it more permanent like you are wanting.
