Establish a secure electrical connection between your RV and towed vehicle with this 6-pole, round pin socket. Plastic socket has brass pins to ensure minimum voltage drop and a rubber boot to protect terminals from dust and moisture.

This part is an exact replacement to the part that failed. The failure was caused by a poor installation which allowed the rubber boot to chaff on the truck frame. As it was an exact replacement installation was straight forward although I modified the mounting bracket to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem.
These connectors were high quality by a known manufacturer. I could have bought them locally but I wouldn't have gotten the expert advice and detailed information that I was able to get from eTrailer!. I talked to several people and each one was very knowledgeable. When the parts arrived, it surprised me because they came so quickly! I would readily order from them again if I needed more trailer parts. I used these connectors to adapt a Minn-Kota trolling motor to my fishing kayak and have attached some pictures showing it installed.
Nice little 6 pin connector. I used it for my Jeep to RV power cord, the 6 pins allows for a charge wire where a flat 4 does not.
It’s lite weight plastic but works fine.

Easy Installation. Seems more durable with the new back-plate included in the hardware. However the Backplate had to be shaved with a rotary burr-bit a little to fit the back of the PollaK housing
Didn’t come with bracket. Could have bought one local with mounting bracket for about same price.

All of the parts I bought are still functioning as they should and I am still happy with my purchase.
What can I say? It does its job. I used a 6-pole connector so that I could wire in a battery charger for our toad. The awesome folks at etrailer.com had to send me a replacement because one of the "ears" cracked during shipping. I'm assuming that it got squashed between some heavy parts as it was only packaged in a plastic bag.

everything from tow bar base plate and wiring has been just what they said it to be and very simple to save money and do it your self, I have lots of experience but seriously if you can change your own oil you can do this kind of work also.

I searched around the web in search of a custom wiring hook up that would work with the existing wiring circuitry that was already in place on my old Dodge pickup. Just replacing the trailer socket was the answer to my problem. It was an easy process to wire in the new plug, at a very reasonable cost. It was also shipped to my home in several days.
Very nice unit. Good instructions. I needed this plug to wire a brake buddy unit into a towed vehicle, and maintain the lighting. Works very well.
Decent enough plug. It was an easy install. I would have liked to have allen screws to get a good bite, but will check the connections after a use or two.
The item is exactly as described and exactly what i needed to make the repair. I love working with these guys as they are helpful, knowledgeable, and delivery is always very fast. They are my 'go to' for RV and auto parts.

Product arrived in a timely manner. It was as described (or even better), with apparent quality of material and construction. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to wire a 6-pin, vehicle-side connector.
Part was exact replacement for the broken trailer electrical socket I needed, at a price lower than I expected. Vendor has a good catalog of just about anything I could need for my trailer and will be using eTrailer.com from now on.
For the money, it is a good product. It would be even better if it had a rubber seal, but for the price, the quality is very good. etrailer is the best. Lightning fast shipping, and super great communication. I love ordering from etrailer.com.

My order was handled expertly and in a timely fashion. Delivery was just a few days after placing my order. Although I have not yet installed the connector it appears to be a well made unit. Instructions were clear for wiring.
Over a year in heavy use and still working well. The tab at the bottom of the lid broke the other day, but spring is not too tight to allow it to be opened by grasping it around the lid.

It has held up well no failures. However, when another component failed I had to re-wire the connector. The socket for the ground wire is too small for all the wires that need to attach to it.
