Question:
I am shopping for a new electronic brake system for a 2000 Damon Camplite 2 axel pop-up camper. I will likely need to replace the brake controller, and the wiring to the brakes in addition to the brakes themselves. I was able to get the following info off the drum itself: Max Dia(meter) 7.060 IN AL-KO 8440

Your AL-KO 8440 drum tells me you have a 7" brake drum with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. This will need 4 of the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K if you are needing to replace the drums themselves. For the brake assemblies you will need 2 of the Brake Kits # AKEBRK-2. We do have the Mounting Hardware # BRKH7 for the brake assemblies as your hardware may not be in the best condition with the age of the 2000 Damon Camplite pop up camper.
We have 12 Gauge Wire # 12-1-1 for running to the brakes. You will also need Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 and some Ring Terminals # DW05762-1 to attach the ground wire to the frame or to your Junction Box # 3430001-JBK.
