I am looking for a trailer hitch for a 2023 Nissan Rouge that will not interfere with the feature that allows me to open tailgate with a movement of my foot under the back of the door. I have a small trailer that I use to take my lawnmower to the shop and stuff to a dumpster

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e93ZR for your 2023 Nissan Rogue. Installing the trailer hitch will not interfere with the tailgate sensor underneath your vehicle. I like the etrailer hitch over the others that we offer because the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish that will make scratches and scuffs that you will receive while towing less visible than the other hitches we offer.

If you plan on towing you will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C44ER and the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554.
