This was super easy to install. The YouTube video told you exactly how to do it and I did it in probably an hour by myself with a floor jack. Great service great shipping. Yeah the box was damaged but it’s a metal tow hitch, it’s gonna rip the box big deal.
After a year, the hitch has always worked perfectly, although it's primarily used to carry 2 EBikes and the rack that holds them. Easy to install, and with zero maintenance it still looks new. Thank you ETrailer for all you do for your customers!
Everything came packaged nicely.
Attached the hitch and assembled the bike rack in under 90 minutes. Hardest part was cleaning threads on car for hitch bolts.

It’s been a year and both the hitch and bike rack are performing like new. Ease of loading and unloading and especially how solid the rack holds bikes from moving around is what makes the rack superior to the ones I’ve used in the past.

It works great. Great product. I am very happy with it.
So far so good. Once I got the mounting holes/threads cleaned out (3 hours) the hitch receiver went on in 15 minutes! :-D (Hint, purchase/find another M12 x 1.25 x 40 bolt to use when cleaning out the mounting holes/threads so you don't mess up the provided bolts.) Also used WD-40 spray can with straw to clean mounting/thread holes. Didn't have access to compressed air to blow out the dirt so had to improvise. Some corrosion as well to remove. Once that was done it fit like a glove!
Super fast shipping and even easier installation. Took me less than 30 minutes by myself to install. Hitch came wrapped up in plenty of shrink wrap and tape for protection and shipping and product arrived in pristine condition.

Still working great, towed my double jet ski trailer all summer long with no problems.
It's a great trailer hitch, but I could not install it by myself in my garage. I paid to have 2 men put the car on a lift and install it. I have not used it for travel yet. It holds the add-on basket a little low. Bottom line, it's fine!
The auto service that I used for the installation informed me that the hitch was short two bolts and washers.
The product is as advertised. Installation was easy as it took 2 of us about 20 minutes to install it. Access to the bolts is tougher on the drivers due to the muffler, but it fit perfectly. I recommend watching the installation video. They do need to do a better job with shipping. The 2 brackets that bolt to the car were ripped through the box. The metal easily sliced through the cardboard and were exposed. (See photos). Other reviews noted this and some were even bent on arrival. Mine were not and fit fine, but the packaging definitely needs to be reinforced.

It works fine. The only thing I wanted and use it for is for a bicycle rack so it doesn’t get any towing use at all. The rack does block the feature where one can use a foot to open the hatchback on our car when your hands are full. Don’t like that and was unexpected. The rack itself is fine.

Had to use wd40 and a wire brush to clean my welded nuts but once they were ready the hitch went on no problems

Came in a very timely manner. Was updated all the way. Went to my local UHAUL who installed it for 1/3 to 1/4 of what was being quoted by eTrailer authorized installers. Looks great..
The hitch receiver was exactly what I ordered and installation went just as the instructions stated. It came fully wrapped and protected. Installation took about 45 minutes by myself. My only issue was trying to get my torque wrench on the bolts on the driver’s side. Extremely happy with it!!

The hitch fits well and was easy to install. It is pretty low to the ground though. I would have preferred a higher hitch even though that would require cutting the vehicle trim
Positive remarks: easy to install. I did not have to put the Rogue on lift or jack. I was able to install the hitch with very minimal difficulty. Due to the weight, I had an extra hand to assist I getting it installed. Installing the bolts was challenging at first. You have to get it perfectly with very little wiggle room to screw it in. I did not have silicone so I just spray a bit of WD-40. Tightening to 86 lbs is very tight. I felt I was going to strip it. Great videos to instruct how to install!! Thanks very helpful.
NEGATIVE remarks: shipment received was awful. Some people would think it’s no big deal the item popping out of the box, not packaged securely. The hitch moved around in the box loosely and unsecured as chipped a bit of paint. Sticker logo ripped/smeared. Weird thing is after I purchased the hitch the following days the price dropped. As a customer receiving an item it should be as well maintains and packaged better. I would still purchase from E Trailer. Great Product/Service! Poor shipping.

Great! No problems.
I would’ve given this five stars because the trailer hitch is solid and well built. Installation however it was a different story… It was not an easy installation. We had to put it up on a neighbors rack and then try making it a quarter of an inch wider. We had to use a house Jack and a wood block to spread it wider. Sooooo… the part of the instructions that state “ for easier installation remove the three plastic locking caps from the underside of the car bumper.” Errrrrrr….that made no difference whatsoever! Lol

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment which is why the bolt holes are not lining up. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment so the hitch can be installed.

Hitch appears OK but haven't installed yet. Shipped promptly but UPS allowed it to sit in Memphis for 2-3 days making it late to arrive. Box was in shreds!
I purchased and installed an etrailer hitch on my 2015 Rogue, nine years ago. My wife and I installed the trailer hitch with no problems. Last week we bought a new 2025 Rogue and didn’t hesitate purchasing another new hitch from etrailer.com.
William was our customer service representative and was able to help me with my order after I had some issues with the online order. Ordered on Saturday and at my doorstep by Wednesday.
Similar installation and same expectation. We only use the hitch for our bicycle rack, but we know that our recreation equipment is safe and secure in the new hitch.

Hitch still working flawlessly. And even with Michigan winters, it still looks good! A little rust from sliding the bike rack in and out, but other than that it still looks great.
