Here is a list of the base plates that will work with your 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.

I feel the Roadmaster # RM-521446-5 is the best in terms of quality and longevity if you are needing a whole new setup for towing your Trailhawk. With this baseplate fitted in our shop we found it has a height of 18-1/4" to the arms. This is important as you may need a High-Low Adapter like # RM-048-4 to level the tow bars from your tow vehicle to the front of your Jeep. The Tow Bars # RM-676 must be within 3" of level.

The RoadMaster Nighthawk All Terrain and Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 will contain the wiring for connecting the tail lights on your Jeep. It also includes lube, storage case, carrying case and locks for the tow bars. You will also need a Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to maintain the battery power on your Jeep while it is being flat towed.

Depending on your tow vehicle we have the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR for hydraulic brakes. The Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR is for tow vehicles with air brakes. These systems are both mounted under the hood of your Jeep and do not require removal of any parts to start driving.
