Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For a 2022 Lexus GX 460

Hello. I have a 2022 Lexus GX with a 6500 pound towing capacity. Are there any hitches available that match that capacity? Thank you.

Currently the only aftermarket receivers I can find for your 2022 Lexus GX 460 are the Curt # C13043 and our etrailer # e46YR. Both these receivers are only rated for up to 5,000lbs towing capacity and 500lbs of tongue weight. I even tried searching for the factory receiver through Lexus's website and they do not list it under their parts and accessories. This makes me believe the only way to have the 6,500lb towing capacity is if you buy it from the factory with the necessary receiver, wiring and any other modifications they may make for the tow package such as a transmission cooler.

For the wiring we have the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT which will give you a 4-way flat connector. This connector will allow you to connect to most small trailers and Auxiliary Lights # C53201 for hitch mounted accessories. If you are pulling a larger trailer and need a 7-way the Kit # ETBC7 will contain the wiring needed to connect to the 4-way above. It will also allow you to connect a Brake Controller # RED52VR if your trailer has electric brakes.
