Expert Reply:
Yes, your 2000 Ford F-350 can use a ball mount with a 2 inch drop like # C45310 with an 18 inch extension, the Curt Extender # C45796.
Keep in mind an extender will reduce the capacity of your trailer hitch, the Reese by 35 percent and the Curt by 50 percent.
The extensions will also need a pin and clip or hitch lock to secure to your Ford's hitch, the Pin and Clip # C21510 or Hitch Lock # e98880.
