If your RV tank monitor readings change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that's a problem. This monitor uses SeeLeveL sensors (sold separately) for single-digit accuracy. Also displays battery voltage and features a water pump switch.

Note: SeeLeveL tank monitoring systems are not compatible with metal tanks.
Traditional tank monitors have a reputation for being unreliable. Only a few sensors are installed inside, meaning that they usually only measure in quarter increments and can send false readings if they get dirty. When you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty means a lot, and that inaccuracy can be a problem.
The SeeLeveL tank monitoring system uses technology that can sense fluid levels from the outside of the tank. The sensors' flexible circuit board sticks in place and measures along its entire height. This makes it accurate in single-digit increments.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the SeeLeveL RV Holding Tank Monitor for fresh and black tanks. Now, if your RV tank monitor readings will change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that could be a big problem. Now, traditional tank monitors will have a reputation for being unreliable, only a few sensors are installed inside, so it means that they usually only measure in quarter increments, and they can send false readings if they get dirty. And when you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty could mean a lot, and that inaccuracy could be a problem. This monitor here will display the levels of your RV's fresh and black tanks at just the push of a button.
This will hard-wire to the SeeLeveL sensors that will be mounted on the outside of your tanks. Now, those sensors we do sell separately on our website, they are listed on this product page as a related product. I'd happen to pull one of those just to show you the sensors we're talking about. They come in three different length, this one happens to be a 12 inch long sensor, but you can see they're flexible, they have a backing that you pull off and just attach to the outside of your tanks and wire it in place. Now, this monitor will also detect battery voltage, and you can activate the water pump with this integrated switch right here.
This is three way function that'll let you connect to switches in your bathroom, kitchen, or elsewhere. This monitor will let you check the status and signal strength of the sensors using diagnostic mode, helps improve the accuracy during your install, and this will even alert you of any errors with calibration issues with various display codes, those codes will be explained with suggested solutions in the user's manual. And this will work with multiple monitors, so you can check the tank status from the service bay and inside your RV, those monitors we do sell separately on our website. This does install easily, all you have to do is cut out a 1 7/8 eight inch by three inch size hole for this to recess mount, comes with the mounting screws to install it. If you noticed, this does have the pigtail that's needed for installation, and the existing wiring from your old tank monitor system can be used to ease the installation.
Application again, this is for a two holding tank system. And the last thing, I just wanna give you the size on this monitor. The width of it is right at four inches, total height of it is 2 3/4 inches, and the total depth with the pigtail installed, about 1 1/4 inches deep. But that should do it for the review on this SeeLeveL RV Holding Tank Monitor for fresh and black tanks..
