What Suspension Helper Should I get for In-Bed Camper on 2024 Titan, the Torklift or RAS?

Question:

Im looking at this product or RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty Part Number: RAS3611-HD For a 2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro 4x, which of these two would you recommend as Ill have a slide in camper in the bed. Ill be maxed out at the payload limit and looking for help with the suspension. thank you

For your 2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X with a slide-in camper and running right up at your payload limit, I would recommend the TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnect - Lower Overload Springs - Stainless Steel # TLA7310S over the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-HD.

The main reason is that the TorkLift StableLoad # TLA7310S is better suited for a truck that will be carrying a heavy, consistent bed load like a slide-in camper. It works by engaging the factory overload springs sooner, which helps reduce rear sag, sway, and body roll. That usually makes it the better choice for camper applications.

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-HD is a really nice option too, but it is more of a general heavy-duty suspension enhancement for overall load support, ride control, and towing stability. For a dedicated in-bed camper setup, I would lean toward the StableLoad first.

Hey Mark. I agree with Kate regarding the stabiloads. This is my third truck and truck camper setup and the lower stabiloads are great. Easy installation and can be easily engaged for hauling the camper and then disengaged when using the truck without. I also added airbags for two reasons. I do tow a trailer occasionally with the camper on the truck and my camper is noticeably heavier on the right side so it helps level the load. It also weighs over 3k before loading with our gear. @PaulW Thanks for the response Paul. When it comes to the camper tie-downs, Torklift has the best, so it makes sense on why they would be the better option since in-bed truck campers are the name of their game.

I use the TorkLift Stable Loads. They are also easy to install and stabilize the truck when hauling my truck camper (3900lb) while also towing a 20ft aluminum boat. Truck rides pretty close to level with all of this. The Stable Loads dramatically reduced roll when cornering and reduce sway in wind or when passed by large vehicles. Best thing about the TorkLift product is they can be disengaged providing return to factory ride when you are not loaded. Admittedly, I don't think you have to disengage them when actually traveling empty ... they only engage significantly when the spring set is loaded anyway.
