Question:
How far behind the fender should the trailer guides be mounted? My goal is to keep the boat from going over the fender so it doesn’t scratch them.

When installing The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27640 it is a personal opinion on how far away from the trailer they should be. Through research I've found out most guide ons are 1-3 inches away from the rub rails on the boat trailer.
