Galvanized steel guide-on posts keep your trailer in view when reversing down a boat ramp. Posts also provide markers on your trailer so you keep your boat centered when loading or unloading it. Ideal for saltwater use.

When your boat trailer has been backed down the ramp and is partially submerged, these 65" tall guideposts that are mounted on the rear corners of the frame will stick out of the water, giving you 2 highly visible targets to guide your boat between for loading. The PVC posts also provide a visual aid to help you back your boat trailer down the ramp when you're unloading your boat.
The posts are simple to install. Slide the PVC posts over the galvanized steel support posts. Then use the included U-bolt hardware to mount the posts on top of or below the trailer frame, as close to the rear corners as possible. Adjust the posts so that the distance between each post and your boat is less than 1 inch.
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

It has met my expectations as far as quality. I have installed it on my trailer but haven't had the opportunity to allow it to guide my boat from the water onto the trailer.
Box had minor shipping damage. No separation of contents and galvanized steel brackets jumped around in box. All parts accounted for.
Heavy duty and easy to put on.
Our family bought a 24 foot boat and have to trailer it and launch every time we use it. Before we purchased the guidons we would have trouble Centering the boat on the trailer. 15 minute install on the trailer, all the difference in the world. Well spent money!
Great heavy duty product but description notes that the brackets fit trailers ‘up to 4” wide.’ In reality the U Bolts have an interior diameter of 3 3/8. See image. Had to return after speaking with customer service (both were very nice).

That is not good to hear at all. So, I went out to the warehouse as well to get my own measurement of our stock, and found the same measurement. I have sent in an update on our site to make sure that the correct information is out there from now on. You should also, be hearing from our customer service within the next 24-48 hours.
Very easy to assemble on trailer will be trying it out this weekend I’m sure it will work great as I have read allot of reviews and everyone seems to rate them highly.

It’s working great, especially on windy days.
Delivered quickly, Excellent quality, Guide post video helped with measurements. I followed the instructions and boat went on easy and straight. Also makes a happy wife who was nervous to trailer boat!

Perfect. No problems.
I purchased the HD 65" tall guide posts for my shorelandr boat trailer.
Everything in this kit was excellent.
The galvanized finish was very thick in all over.
I purchased the taller set so that I could cut the posts to custom match the height I wanted.
The PVC posts are the heavy wall thickness tubing.
The u-bolts are excellent strength and assembled without any problems.
I have used this setup for over a year now and I would never be without it.
Loading my boat in high wind conditions is straight and controlled positioning onto the trailer bunks.
I highly recommend this product.
The guide-ons were made of good quality, but were not helpful in my case on a pontoon trailer. The side curtain panels that go around the boat kept me from seeing the guide-ons at the time when I needed to, even if I stood up at the drivers seat, I could not see them. After hitting them several times, in the blind, I ended up taking them off, and going back to trying to learn to use the bunk boards again.
Works great….makes loading our pontoon boat much easier!

Excellent product. Quality galvanized metal and PVC. About 30 minutes to install both sides. Very easy to adjust to the desired position. E-Trailer’s customer service is unmatched; I returned a product earlier this week that did not fit, and replaced it with these post guide-ons. Delivery in 48 hours all the way down to S. Georgia. Have not used the product yet, but am confident they will serve their purpose for years to come. If not, I’ll update my comments.

After a year of use my initial review remains unchanged. If you are on the fence as to whether this product is worth the price, my suggestions is to go for it. Be sure of the size and fitment of course, but worth the every penny.
Excellent product! Well designed, very sturdy and easy to install. Works great on my pontoon trailer.
Arrived quickly and as described. Assembled quickly and easily. I would highly recommend these trailer guides and this company.
I just completed installation on my boat trailer. It took little time and is solid as a rock. I can't wait to load my boat without missing the bunks. This product came with all needed parts and as described.
After watching the video, I decided to try this product. My order was immediately processed and shipped. When examining the parts, I was impressed by the weight of the 12 guage steel bars and PVC covers. There are different ways to install but I chose not to cover the outer frame. I loosely installed the hardware and the carefully slid the posts in to my liking. My wife launches and loads the boat while I do the trailer thing. We cannot believe the difference ! The poles provide a great picture site and easily guides the boat's inner rails and on to the trailer. What we both will say, "Why didn't we use these years ago" !
These trailer guides were the easiest after market accessories to install. The quality is excellent and the simplicity to install amazing.

These guides have proven to be very helpful!! The large pontoon boat I purchased was challenging when trying to load it on the trailer- especially when my wife had the duty to get it on straight. Now it has made the loading of the boat extreme easier and a whole lot less frustrating and has helped our marriage They work great !!!!
These made my retrieval of my sailboat so much easier. It is vital to get the keel between the trailer bunks, and with the posts as a guide, it makes it automatic. Also, they are well made and mounting was not hard. I added an extra mounting point for my style trailer. I am completely satisfied.

One year later, the product has help up and not corroded. I cant imagine trying to retrieve my boat without the guide poles. Great product.
