Correct Inner and Outer Bearing for EZ Loader Trailer with L44649 Outer Bearing and 168255TC Seal

Question:

I have a 2008? EZ Loader Two Axle boat trailer, The front axle outer bearing is marked L44649, and the seal on the inner side is marked T23984. The rear axle outer bearing is marked L44649?- the L is not visible and the first 4 is very faded, and the seal on the inner side is marked 168255TC. I looked these parts up on your site and found a L44649 kit, a 168255TC seal, but no T23984 seal. However further info on your site talks about the L44649 being used for inner and outer on a BTR spindle, but only as the outer on a 84 spindle. Im not sure what Ive got. Do I need to take them apart again and get more info on the spindles? Do I get the L44649 kit and use L44649s for inner and outer, and use the 168255TC seal on both? Also, which model/size bearing buddy should I get for these bearings?

I do have an option for you but you will need to convert from oil to grease since they don't make stuff for oil in this size anymore. That said, I can confirm based on the info you provided that you need to use part # L44649 for the outer bearing and part # L68149 the inner bearing, not two of the part # L44649 inner/outer bearings. Then for the grease seal you will want to use the part # 168255TB. In order to switch from oil to grease you'll also need the part # BB1980A which is for a 1.98" hub bore.
