• Trailer Tires and Wheels to Replace 185/70R14 Tires on a Utility Trailer
  Size 185/70-14 is not a common trailer tire size. Unless it has ST in front of the size it is a passenger vehicle tire and should not be used on a trailer. ST stands for special trailer. The smallest 14 inch trailer tire size is ST205/75-14. For a radial tire and wheel combo in this size with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend # AM32161.   As long as you aren't going over the capacity you can use the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM32181 as a spare. The weight of your trailer will be divided between your tires. This has a max load of 1,870 lbs at 50 psi. For example, if you had a GVWR of 7,000 lbs between 4 tires that would be 1,750 lbs per tire which would mean this is ok to use. It is likely a 6 inch or a 5-1/2 inch width but that isn't an issue because they have a zero offset so the same size tire will still run exactly the same.
