Features to know about

Built for Reliable Towing: 14" x 5-1/2" Steel Construction Rated for 2,200 lbs

This wheel is made for dependable performance mile after mile. The sturdy steel build gives it the strength to handle heavy loads confidently, and it meets Department of Transportation standards. With a 2,200-lb capacity and 0 offset, it’s a solid choice when you need a wheel that stays true under weight and keeps things stable on the road.

Made to Handle the Elements: White Powder Coat Over E-Coat Primer

Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance thanks to the tough finish. The e-coat primer seals the steel, and the white powder coat adds another protective layer to keep rust and grime out. Whether you’re near saltwater or driving through harsh weather, this finish helps the wheel stay looking clean and hold up over time.

Easy Fitment Every Time: 5 on 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern with 3.19" Pilot Diameter

The Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel uses a standard 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and a 3.19" pilot diameter, so matching it up is straightforward. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, and the zero offset keeps your load evenly centered on the hub for balanced towing. It’s a setup that fits right and performs as expected.

Smooth Look with Classic Style: Eight-Spoke White Design

The eight-spoke pattern keeps things simple and sharp. The clean white powder coat brings a classic trailer look that pairs well with new tires or refreshes an older rig. It’s an easy way to give your trailer a fresh appearance while keeping the durability you want in a steel wheel.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

came to my home in good shape will have a tire put on it at my local tire store Monday

by:

That perfectly, and came on time

by:

Arrived just as described, nice packaging, shipped fast. Nice finish on the wheels, looks better than the rusty ones on my Halmark trailer!

by:

Outstanding customer service. Lets you know who, what, and when in the email they send you. Just follow the email they send you , and it covers everything including tracking on a map that tells where your pkg is. Very reasonable cost for product and shipping. And in stock. I'm a return customer.
As for the rim , the same rim I've had great luck with on all my trailers. Good solid steel and looks nice also.

Excellent

by:

Great service and product as always.

by:

I was sent one newer rim and one old stock rim. The pin stripes are different colors, they do not match. The newer rim pin stripes are a lot more vibrant red/blue whereas the old rim is more maroon/navy. Also the old rim hardly has any paint left on the outside edge, bare metal showing and definitely is going to show surface rust first time it rains. The old rim also has a spot where yoy can see someone took touch up paint to try and cover up paint chips near the center bore. Not happy...

by:

Good price. Good delivery.

by:

Exactly what I wanted and was here in no time will definitely use them again

Trailers great ??

by:

These are nice-looking wheels. Problem is: for how long? They will rust out along the seam in a few years. A bead of white silicone caulking in the seam, would prolong the wheels new looking condition for a couple extra years. Say, I may do that myself and see what happens! If they came to me already caulked in the seam... I would give an excellent rating.

by:

Rims were very nice. A couple of them took quite a bit of weight to balance but in the end were fine. Quality seemed very good. Very happy with them. Used with the metal valve stem and work very well together.

I had purchased a used travel trailer from some friends in Southern Utah. When we went to pick it up I, of course checked it over. As a retierd mechanic/shop owner I paid atentionto the date on the tires, fully expecting to replace them before the trip home. Nope-they were within the replacement dates of less than 5 years old. Returned to Northern Arizona over some desolate roads, commonly called the Arizona Strip and the Rez. Then a trip to Northern California along US395. Coming back from Northern Utah along US89 the Strip suffered a blowout. No problem- ordered new tires, next size up in load range, when I decided to have 2 spares, just because- because many roads we use are (calling them rural would be charitable) are a bit between everything. What suprised me was not being able to source a wheel loacally, so I turned to the source I had used while in business for my customer trailer needs. The ONLY problem is cost of freight and not being able to pass it on to the customer, becasue it was me. I have used ETrailer in business and personally. Prices are fair and selection is good. I am not located in metro areas, so shopping is not easy, but ETrailer is.

Hey Denny! I'm happy that we are able to be your go-to for business and personal needs! I used to live in the valley there and definitely know what you mean about some of the roads that are off the beaten path.

by:

In salt water powder coat is everything, excellent rims for a great price!

by:

Look good and works as they should!

by:

etrailer has been great to work with!
I
ordered a wheel that theUS Postal Service seems to have lost. After a couple of calls to etrailer, they sent me a replacement wheel via UPS end it arrived quickly.

by:

Great service, great product

by:

The wheels are of good quality but have two flaws. First, the inside hole has very sharp edges that cut my finger when carrying it. Second, if you’re mounting hub caps on them, be aware that the red and blue stripes they paint on the outer rim (why?) still show. I tried painting over them with white enamel paint- didn’t work. Turns out, the stripes are applied AFTER the powder coating process so they come off with lacquer thinner and elbow grease, fortunately. The photo shows the rim after the stripes were removed.

by:

Excellent quality, great packaging and shipping fast

Upgrading a 1996 Sholander boat trailer wheels.

by:

Great customer service.
Good value
and fast turnaround.

by:

Nice wheels, but both of them arrived w/ dings in the powdercoating that covered up w/ chip-repair paint. Not show quality by any means, but they're trailer wheels I'm putting on my boat. We'll see how long the "repairs" hold up in brackish water. Otherwise, they'll do the job. Mounted and balanced fine and look decent compared to the old corroded wheels on the trailer when I got it. Have a hard time wanting to recommend anything that had to be touched up at the manufacturer because of shoddy QC.

by:

These wheels look great and will work well with 8 ply tires. Nice and heavy duty. Delivery was incredibly quick.

by:

This was my second purchase from etrailer and both times the parts arrived within a few days and were in perfect shape. Prices are better than anywhere else and their selection is excellent. Communication is top-notch. Will continue to order from this vendor. Very good.

  • Tips for How to Identify a Trailer Axle
Depending on how the trailer was made, there will be a few spots you can check to identify the axle. First, if the trailer was pre-made by a specific company, you may be able to find this information in either the paperwork or on a placard somewhere on the frame. Sometimes, the axle identity is stamped into the axle itself or into the hub if it was purchased as a complete assembly. If you cannot find any markings or notation for the axle, you will need to look for replacement parts based...

Hey Harrison. I am sorry but I do not have a 14" wheel with a 5 on 4-3/4 bolt pattern. The closest size I have is the 15" x 5" Steel Mod Silver Trailer Wheel item # AM38NR. We don't see 5 on 4-3/4 bolt pattern too often anymore. What kind of trailer do you have?

  • Trailer Tires and Wheels to Replace 185/70R14 Tires on a Utility Trailer
Size 185/70-14 is not a common trailer tire size. Unless it has ST in front of the size it is a passenger vehicle tire and should not be used on a trailer. ST stands for special trailer. The smallest 14 inch trailer tire size is ST205/75-14. For a radial tire and wheel combo in this size with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern I recommend # AM32161. This set up is rated for 2200 pounds at 75 psi. I have included a link to a video review of this tire and wheel combo for you.

  • Will the Erickson Spare Trailer Tire Mount Kit Work on My Utility Trailer with Round Rails?
Hello Jack, Yes, you can mount the Erickson # EM77316 Spare Trailer Tire Bracket to a round trailer frame, but it requires a few modifications since the bracket is originally designed for square or flat frames. The included U-bolts are shaped for flat surfaces, so to mount it securely to a round frame, you'll want to replace those with round U-bolts (which you can find at your local hardware store) that match the diameter of your trailer's frame. These round U-bolts will provide a snug...

Both the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # AM20352 and the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20365 that you referenced are made of the same material and have the same powdercoat finish so either would be just as great as the other when being submerged. If I were you I would pick the design that you think looks better since aside from that the wheels are identical. I attached review videos for both wheels for you to check out as well.

  • Can 12 inch Tire of Trailer be Upgraded to 14 inch Wheel and Tire
If you had the clearance for a 14 inch wheel and tire yes you could upgrade your 12 inch setup to a 14 inch setup. The tire diameter would increase from 21.3 inches to 26.3 inches and the width would increase by 2.3 inches. For that we have the Kenda Karrier tire part # AM10235 which gives you a trailer tire size ST205/75R14 and then have them mounted on a white wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern by Dexstar # AM20352. This tire has a speed rating of 81 mph. The wheel is made in the USA.

  • Replacement Tires and Wheels for a Utility Trailer with P185/70R14 Tires and 5 on 4-1/2 Wheels
I would recommend replacing the tires along with the wheels on your utility trailer. The tires that you currently have on your trailer are passenger car tires which can be identified by the P at the beginning of the tire size and it is not a common trailer tire size. Trailer tires will have an ST, or special trailer, designation on the tire size. Trailer tires are constructed with a stronger sidewall and can handle higher air pressures which are needed when carrying a load on a trailer....

As long as you aren't going over the capacity you can use the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM32181 as a spare. The weight of your trailer will be divided between your tires. This has a max load of 1,870 lbs at 50 psi. For example, if you had a GVWR of 7,000 lbs between 4 tires that would be 1,750 lbs per tire which would mean this is ok to use.
