Are you sure the carriage bolts supplied with the etrailer hitch will fit in the 2022 Tacoma rear bumper ?

Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98905 uses 1/2-13 x 1 3/4 carriage bolts to fit the existing holes in the bumper beam on your 2022 Toyota Tacoma. I've attached a link to the instructions as well as a clip from the instructions to demonstrate this.
If you plan on doing some towing, then you'll need wiring and a ball mount kit to complete your setup. You need the Curt T-Connector # C56349 for the standard 4-Way trailer wiring connection or the OEM Replacement Wiring Harness # 22117 if you need the fully-functioning 7-Way. For a brake controller with the 7-Way I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR with the Wiring Adapter # 331-TPH-017 and Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 for a completely custom look.
Then for a ball mount I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10049B which comes with height adjustment and 3 different hitch ball sizes so you never need another ball mount setup again. You can lock the complete assembly to your hitch using a single Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880 or you can lock it at the hitch and the height adjustment pins using the InfiniteRule Locking Pins # 34061775-D.
