Good deal for the price. The carriage bolts take a little patience. Drop the spare tire to make the install easier. Four stars instead of five because the dimensions seem just a bit off for the frame rail attachments. There was more of a gap between the receiver and each of the frame rails than I expected and felt almost like I was forcing too much to get the receiver flush on both sides, but at recommended torque it did close the gap. I couldn’t get my torque wrench on two of the frame rail bolts due to lack of space, so a box wrench and elbow grease required.
I purchased this product a year ago to put on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma and it was a really easy install. I also love the black color is not painted on, so it hasn't scratched or anything throughout the year and it has definitely been put to use. I recommend this hitch receiver if you're looking for one and on the fence, you won't find a better value for the price.

The first step is the hardest, but once you know the trick, even that is easy. With the bolt and the spacer inside the bumper and attached to the fish tape, run your finger through the hole in bottom to hold the spacer perpendicular to the bottom of the bumper. Use your finger on the opposite hand to direct the bolt through the hole. Then, pull the fish tape and the bolt will fall right into place. The rest of the install is easy.

Fits my 2022 3rd gen tacoma like a glove. The matte black has a clean, factory look. Install is straight forward; I used a floor jack to hold it in place.
Beyond the obvious screw fishing step (which honestly wasn't that bad), installing the hitch receiver was a breeze! Definitely needed two people. Definitely would recommend
Unfortunately I had to return the hitch receiver. I made numerous attempts to drop the bolts through the holes in the support channel so that the receiver could be attached. The provided bolts were simply too long. This made it impossible to get the bolts upright enough do drop through the holes. I really liked the look of the hitch receiver. It appears to be built very solid. Very disappointed.

Great unit. Easy enough install. Great instructions. Built well. No complaints at all.

The rear hitch mounts are slightly wider and required considerable effort to get it in place. Also, two of the four rear mounting bolts are only accessible using a 19mm wrench but that isn’t mentioned in the directions and cannot be properly torqued using a ratchet style torque wrench. The build quality is excellent and heavy duty.
Easily went together even while being caught in a rainstorm! As stated fishing the two bolts and spacers through rear tube took the longest. Also dropping the spare gives MUCH better access to the four frame bolts and room to torque. That should be mentioned in your videos. Over all smooth fit and function. Have to wait for rain free day for wiring install.

This hitch fit perfectly and the system for getting the bolts in place inside the hitch was brilliant.
I was really disappointed that I couldn't finish the install on my own (it isn't brain surgery!) but there was a screw coming in from above on the bumper so I couldn't pull the last two bolts through. Qnd taking the moulding and whatever off looked complicated. To have someone do it took an hour and a half and $240.
