Question:
I did NOT see Scamp as a trailer manufacturer choice on your web-site when looking for electric brake parts. I am looking for electric brake parts shoes, magnets, hopefully NOT drums/hubs for a 2000 Scamp Everlands 19 foot 5th wheel camping trailer, converted to regular 2 inch ball hitch see photo. The entire trailer is one axle and weighs 2,200 lbs. Trailer VIN: 1S7R5W107YXXXXXXX. When I plug the trailer into the round 7 pin electric connector, my Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller says, NO Trailer Connected. However, all the trailer lights work fine when connected, just no brake action on trailer. P3 troubleshoot function shows 12.6V Power, and goes from 0V to 12.5 V when brakes applied, but with only 0.01A current. I assume an open circuit somewhere in brake circuit and/or magnets worn away to nothing. Any help appreciated, THANKS!!

I reached out to Scamp for help to find your exact brakes, unfortunately due to the age of your 2000 Scamp 19 Everglades they did not have the exact information or parts available and the only thing that they could tell me is your trailer uses 10" brakes.
I recommend pulling apart one of your hubs first to check that the Replacement Shoe and Lining Kit # AKBRKR-S-10 and Magnet Kit # AKBRKR-M10 are the correct. This will also be a good time to also inspect your bearings, drums, grease seals, etc since the trailer is 22 years old to determine if there are other parts that need replaced or if anything was changed from original.
