Which 7 Way Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2015 Ford Explorer

Question:

The connector on the rear passenger side of my 2015 base model without a backup sensor seems to be different from wire harness T connectors on your site. I have included a photo below. What should I order for a 7 pin connector?

There are often two different harnesses at the back of the 2015 Ford Explorer and it looks like you just have the incorrect one; occasionally they're in slightly different spots but there will only be 1 plug to install trailer wiring on a 2015 Explorer and there's not an alternate plug for vehicles with backup sensors.

With that said, if you're looking for a 7 way connector I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56278. This harness will fit on the 2015 Ford Explorer and provides you with a 7 way trailer harness for your vehicle.

I've linked an installation video of this part for you to check out, but the correct plug is on your vehicle-it may just be hiding behind another wire loom or for some reason was installed closer to the driver's side of the vehicle.
