Wiring for towing often means splicing into your vehicle’s tail light circuits, but this harness avoids all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs straight into the factory connector to give you a clean 7-way trailer plug. There’s no converter box needed because the signals are already converted from the vehicle side. It’s a true plug-in design built for easy, reliable setup.
When you need to tow a trailer with brakes or charge a trailer battery, a 7-way is essential. This harness gives you the standard 7-blade connection used for running lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, and auxiliary power. The reverse light circuit is rated up to 10 amps, so it can handle typical trailer lighting or solenoid loads.
Even if your vehicle didn’t come with the factory tow package, this T-Connector still uses the existing connectors under the rear of the vehicle. There’s no need to run new wiring front to back or guess at wire functions—the plug is already there and ready for this harness to connect.

I got great service with a great product, very easy to install with provided instructions.
All information on website was correct. I got the correct part on the date they promised delivery. It’s been install and works great. Your online videos were big help in getting best wiring harness for the job.
Harness plugged right in. Zip ties included were to small to use. It would have been nice to have bolts included to attach to the bracket.
Connectirs were a perfect match. Kit should include nuts and bolts to attatch 7way to tow hitch. Its been a year. Mine is still attatched with zip ties
There was confusion between the written instructions and the color coded designations on the back side of the plug, which to un-due rework to get the connector properly wired. The written instructions included in the kit were in error in identifying the proper wire color to terminal number. The "T-Connector" however work excellent. The harness quality was very good, and the 7-pin connector was just average in quality.
The item itself is excellent my lower review is due to the faulty wiring instructions supplied. the connector was stamped with one wiring scheme and the instructions had another. I wired it per instructions and things did light up correctly, I wired it per the stamped colors on the connector and things work as they should. Differences are Connector 3-green, 5-red, 6-brown, yellow unknown. Instructions 3-brown,5-yellow and 6-green, red unknown. I am still uncomfortable about the red wire on 5 and yellow wire in the center but the left turn and brakes work. I don't have reverse lights on trailer so don't know about yellow in center.
Product shipped quickly undamaged. Wiring instructions did not match exactly with my 2012 Ford explores lights. I had to test and then re-wire to the 7 way plug

Still working good
It can’t be any easier unless you get somebody else to do it for you. I’m 63 wasn’t in any hurry and it took about an hour and a half 4 bolts off and 5 bolts on plug in your wiring and good to go. The video is pretty clear what to do.
I would definitely recommend this product for any one who needs a hitch on their suv mine is a 2014 Ford Explorer everything fit like a glove going to pull my boat with mine. Very happy with the products from etrailer.
