For your 2021 Toyota Highlander there are quite a few different options but it will be dependent on if your vehicle is an XSE model or not.
The EcoHitch # EH35VR, and etrailer # e75ZR will fit ALL models of the 2021 Toyota Highlander. The Curt # C99FR will all fit as long as your vehicle is NOT the XSE. And the Curt # C99FR will only work with the XSE model.
Between all of these options I recommend going with the etrailer # e75ZR due to it having a hidden crosstube that means once installed on the receiver itself will be visible as you can see in the included install picture, but also due to it having a matte black powder coat finish which blends in with the black trim on your vehicle better than the gloss black finishes on the other hitches.
This hitch has a 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating making it very versatile for multiple different things like carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier, or for using a ball mount to tow a trailer.
If you will be towing a trailer with your Highlander you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # TK99FR, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
