Will the Curt C99FR Fit a 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE

Question:

The 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE requires a different hitch design than all the other Highlander of 2021. I think the exhaust system is the fitment problem. Are you sure that yours is XSE compatible?

We actually have a customer of ours that did successfully install the Curt # C99FR on their 2021 Toyota Highlander with the XSE package, so we do have it listed as fitting. With that being said, they did mention that the exhaust did need to be lowered a bit more than usual, but this does happen sometimes and actually isn't too far out of the ordinary. I included a couple pictures of this hitch installed on their XSE for you to check out as well.

If you are going to be towing with your Highlander, I also recommend getting some wiring installed. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # TK99FR is a plug and play option and will take little to no time to get installed.
