Can the Under-Panel on a 2013 Honda CR-V be Left Off After Installing a Hitch?

I am planning remove the plastic cover and not reinstall it will there be a problem with that? thanks

As the plastic cover that needs the trimming is just there to cover the fuel tank on your 2013 CR-V, you can definitely leave it off. From the install video I included, you can see that nothing really ties directly into this panel.
