Question:

Hi, Comparing these 2 similar options for my 2019 CR-V for a bike rack or luggage tray usage. Etrailer 2 hitch e98848 Curt 2 hitch C13397 The only differences I see is one says Etrailer is Matte and Black Tube while Curt is Gloss and Round Tube. I cannot see the Square vs Round difference in the pics. Can you explain? Is there any advantage to one over the other? Also for the Matte vs Gloss, is there any advantage to 1 over the other? Thank you

The only difference between the Curt Hitch part # C13397 and the etrailer hitch # e98848 that fits your 2019 Honda CR-V is the finish of the powder coat. Aside from that they are identical and both are actually square tube. Since this is a mostly hidden hitch setup only the hitch opening will hang below the bumper and be visible. While not a huge difference, the matte finish will not reflect any light so it would be less visible so I would go with the # e98848
