The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e89YR is definitely a confirmed to fit your 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid. This hitch also uses a hidden cross bar to make it look cleaner on the back of your Escape.
I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TE54FR be installed when you are installing the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector that is needed when towing small trailers. It can also be used to add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your hitch mounted accessory blocks the view of you Escape's taillights.
