Helpful Expert Reply:
A complete flat towing setup consists of base plates, a compatible tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring/lighting, supplemental braking and a high/low adapter (if needed). For base plates I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct Connect Base Plate kit # 3148-3, which has removeable arms to allow you to keep your front end looking clean when you're not towing the truck. For a tow bar, I recommend using the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K # RM-422, which is compatible with Roadmaster Direct Connect base plates. This tow bar is easy to install and the non-binding design allows you to release your vehicle at any time, anywhere. Since this tow bar does not come with safety cables I recommend using the Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs # RM-645.
In order to power the lights on your Silverado 2500 in conjunction with your Fleetwood Revolution's I recommend using the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode Kit # RM-154 which comes with diodes to protect your vehicle from back-feed that might otherwise damage the electrical system on the RV in the event of a short.
For supplemental braking I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99243, which will provide proportional braking for your Silverado 2500 and is compatible with the air brakes on your Fleetwood Revolution.
You may also need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level while you're towing. I've linked one of our helpful articles on how to measure to determine if one is needed, as well as our entire selection of those. I've also linked some helpful articles on flat towing that you can look through if you're new to it, and some review/installation videos of the parts mentioned above.
