I just got a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee but it did not come with the factory tow package. What wiring can we use to tow our trailer?

The trailer wiring harness I recommend for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee without the factory tow package is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118727 which is a plug and play fit with no splicing required. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness provides a 4-way trailer connector which has the basic lighting functions. If you need a 7-way trailer connector which has the basic lighting functions and a brake output circuit then you will need a 4 to 7-way adapter, the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L. Then for a brake controller you can use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which wouldn't require any modifications to the vehicle like a traditional brake controller would. I have attached some other parts you might need to complete your towing setup as well.
