Adding trailer lighting shouldn’t mean cutting up factory wires. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs inline with the existing taillight connectors, creating a clean, worry-free hookup. Each side connects behind the tail lights so you get power for turn, brake, and running lights without altering the original wiring.
Some harnesses struggle to send a strong signal to your trailer lights, especially on newer vehicles. This setup fixes that by using a dedicated 12-volt power wire that runs straight to the battery. The battery feed powers the built-in converter so your trailer lights get steady current without pulling power from sensitive vehicle circuits.
Once it’s plugged in, the converter box mounts inside the vehicle where it’s protected from water and road debris. The 4-flat connector can be routed out near the hitch when you need to tow, then tucked away when you don’t. It looks tidy and keeps all wiring safe from the elements.

Was a direct plug and play into the tail lights. The biggest challenge is finding a good path to run the power wire from front. Overall, this product is as advertised.
This product needs to include clear and complete installation instructions I had to get professional help to install it

2021 Jeep GC 3.6 no factory tow package, this was an excellent option to add. Not being the 5.7 the 4 pole connector is perfect. Hardest thing is running the wires if you’re on your back on the garage floor. Lift would make this a 2 star difficulty but since I was on the floor it was a 3.5 out of 5 for difficulty. Grease isn’t needed if you use the butt shrink connectors like in the video, I also added the shrink wire sleeves over the connector (without a doubt it is weather proof doing this). Plugged in the tester and all worked as advertised. Highly recommend if you want to save money, my whole setup ran me under $xxx, Jeep dealer wanted close to $xK for hitch/7 pole/labor. I recommend to everyone if you’re towing a trailer with lights and no brake setup.

The wire harness from the left tail light to the black box could have been a little longer to enable a better fit of the black box to the frame.
Very good product. First class. Had to refer to the online video for clarification on installation but that wasn't a problem. Although it wasn't a problem I feel that the converter box wires should be a little longer because it is so tight it doesn't give you a lot of options on where to mount it. Kind of hard to reach into a area to clean it and no way could you ever use the tab for a screw to hold it
Easy install. Worked right off.
Only thing is wires on leftside(driver side) were to short and I can mount the converter to anything. I can just reach it with my fingers.
This setup fit perfect with my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has a nice matte black finish so it blends in under the bumper well. Installation went pretty smooth, the only thing I had to modify were the wire connections. The butt connectors didn’t work too well so I ended soldering which took some extra time but everything else went smoothly.

Actual installation instructions are terrible. Online videos were helpful, but the guy talked way too fast, had to keep pausing and replaying. The product itself is o.k. I wasn’t prepared to run a power wire to the battery the entire way under the vehicle, but it is what it is.
Very easy to install. Total time for installation was less than 3 hours. The worst part was fishing the power wire through the frame to connect to the battery.

I would recommend this to anyone needing a hitch/T-connector wiring hardness and wants to save $200 bucks by installing it yourself.
The trailer hitches was easily installed. The wiring wasn't bad, what I expected. I've used it a few times and haven't had any issues. It would've been nice to be in the location of the factory purchased hitch, but I realize that might have required cutting the lower trim piece.
Good kit and fit well to factory connectors. Because I live in a snowy area where they salt the roads, I used a better screw to connect the ground wire and covered the connection with silicone so it would not rust. I also used heat shrink tubing over the crimp connections, Some of the wire routing included crossing metal pieces where it could cut the insulation with vibration, etc. So I put wire loom on the green and black wires before zip tying them in place. The insulation on the black wire is thick. That one may not have needed it. Otherwise I very good kit.
Easy peasy!!! The video you posted for the install on my 21 Jeep GC was spot on!!! I have a hitch on my older Jeep and was excited to find this kit for my newer Jeep! Adding the hitch tomorrow when it arrives!! Installed on the day of delivery no problem!! Thank you for this easy solution!
