Helpful Expert Reply:
Air Conditioners such as the Furrion AC # FR26PR do need a thermostat to be controlled, though there is an option that does not have to be mounted on the wall.
The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor # ACM150C is for non-ducted applications and includes an air distribution box that has a built-in thermostat, making it extremely easy to use.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor # ACM150C.
