Installed this unit in about an hour. True plug and play!! I had to use different holes in the bracket inside, but fit perfect. The only challenge I had for being 63 years old is getting it on the roof and the old unit down. The John Deere with front end loader with forks and a pallet did the trick! Thanks to my wife who is always ready to dial 911!! Thanks to Alyssa J for your help with the purchase. Also, the Dometic distribution box and thermostat worked with the Furrion.

Package showed up earlier than expected. Packing was right and no damage from shipping. The extra box for wiring harness, metal brackets, and mounting bolts was complete. I haven't installed yet. This was just a review on proper packing, no damages, completeness of all components. Great job!

The air conditioner was shipped very fast. Received the unit two days before the original shipment date. The serviceman installed the unit and it is working fine. Only thing the fed-ex ship in on the side of the box and placed the unit in my shed upside down because your shipping department didn’t tape the bottom of the box that can damage a air conditioner!! Time Will tell!! Thank you Kelly for everything!!! Eddie Paparo

by:

The unit function is stellar blows cold, my only complaint would be Furrion needs to design a better air distribution box.

by:

We received the AC, installed and working very well. Bought 1 Furrion 2 weeks earlier, 2nd Furrion on Aug. 20th 2023 and with both units on my 2013 Palomino Columbus 5th wheel with the outside temp at 107 degrees today here in Kirvin TX, they are keeping the inside temp at 76 degrees with no trouble. I am very pleased with these two ACs. They are also much quieter then the old Dometic ACs they replaced.

by:

If you’re not replacing a Furrion you will need the inside distribution panel. I had a Domedic and the inside panel does not fit. Very satisfied with the Furrion Chill HE.

by:

Great experience from stay to finish. Got what we ordered and quickly.

See what our Experts say about this Furrion RV Air Conditioners

  • Is The Furrion Chill HE Replacement Air Conditioner Easy To Swap In For A Dometic AC System
Yes, removing the old Dometic unit will just require removing the four bolts that clamp it to the roof and unplugging the connector and pulling the unit out of the way for the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit # FR26PR. You'll want to have an extra set of hands when moving the unit because dragging it along the roof can tear the roof membrane and/or gasket on the ac units. Once you have the new unit in place you can reinsert the four bolts to clamp the Furrion unit in...

  • Does 13,500 Btu Furrion Chill HE AC Have Indoor Noise Rating
Furrion does not have an indoor noise rating for the 13,500 Btu Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner - White # FR26PR. Reason being is it would be impossible to give an accurate rating due to the varying factors of RV roofs, and how noise is dispersed throughout. The # FR26PR does have an 80 dB outside noise rating, so it will be quite a bit more muffled inside.

  • Furrion Chill HE RV AC Unit Recommendation to Replace Coleman Unit
The Furrion for Coleman Setups part # FR82PV would be an excellent option for your dad's travel trailer. It was designed for Coleman setups like what he has so the install will be very painless and you can continue to use the same controls in the RV already. 13,500 btu isn't going to be overkill. It will just be very efficient and work even on really hot days. The power draw on this is 11.2 amps.

  • Will The Furrion Replacement AC Unit Replace A Dometic 600315.321 Rooftop Unit
There could possibly be a refrigerant leak in your condenser unit so swapping it out would be the correct choice. The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR82PV would be compatible, but you could possibly save a couple bucks if the wire harness adapter isn't needed. If you remove the cover on your air distribution box you should be able to see your controller and see a wire harness hanging down from the condenser, plugging into the controller. If the plug has 6-pin connector...

  • Replacement For A Dometic Duo-Therm 3104998 Controller
If you're replacing the controller for your air conditioner system then you'd have to replace the whole distribution box as well because they wouldn't all mount the same and no two brands have been tested to fit together yet. The product number 991760410 didn't come back to anything for me unfortunately. If you're only needing to replace the rooftop unit and want to keep your current air distribution box and thermostat then you'll need to open up the air distribution box and check for the harness that the rooftop unit uses to connect to the controller. It will either have a 6-pin or 9-pin connector. You'll also need to check for a sticker that lists the BTU rating so that you can match or increase your current...

  • What is the Difference Between the Furrion Chill HE and the Furrion Chill A/C?
The only real differences between the Furrion Chill Premium RV Air Conditioner System # FR26PR and the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR58PR is the BTU rating, other than that they are the exact same. For your 2021 Heartland Fuel 265 I recommend going with Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR55PV because it has a higher BTU rating, and is a bit quieter when running which over time I believe it would be worth it.

  • Replacement Options Air Conditioner Options For A 1998 Monaco Dynasty
To determine a replacement for your Dometic Duo-Therm units you'll first need to remove the air distribution box cover and determine the connection type, whether it's a 6 or 9-pin connector or if it's hardwired. Next you'll want to remove the shroud of the rooftop unit to check the BTU rating. There should be a sticker somewhere on it that states either 13,500 or 15,000 BTU's. • Recommended Replacement For A Dometic Duo-Therm AC Unit Model # 80611342
Your Dometic model number 80611342 came back as a 13,500BTU unit so the only other information we'll need to know is the what style connector your unit has. Dometic units will either come with a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below). The units we currently offer only come with a 6-pin connector so you'll need an adapter if your current unit had a 9-pin. To find this you'll need to remove the cover of your air distribution box and find the wire harness that hangs down from the rooftop...

If only one unit isn't keeping up then you can replace just that one unit without having to replace both. You'll just need to determine how the bad unit connects to the system to figure out the best replacement option. It will typically be a 6 or 9-pin connector, but some times Dometic units can be hardwired. • Troubleshooting Furrion Thermostat Temperature Reading FACW12SA-BL
Regarding your Furrion FACW12SA-BL (DISCONTINUED) wall thermostat, this is a common observation, as the temperature sensor is in the ceiling with the air distribution box. When using the air conditioner, leave the fan on at least low to keep your interior air being drawn into the box and being measured by the temperature sensor in there. This will help the thermostat to display the true temperature, and to cycle the compressor on and off as needed more accurately.
