Can Weight Distribution Shank for Gen-Y Hitch Ball Mounts Be Used with Standard WD Systems

Question:

Using this adapter, would say for an example would the equalizer hitch head hit the gen y receivers say when using 8 washers ? Looking @ pictures it looks like their isn`t enough room to angle the head back that far . My current set up I`m running 8 washers in the head .

The Weight Distribution Shank for Gen-Y Hitch Adjustable Ball Mounts # 325-GH-0352 that you referenced is designed to fit the standard weight distribution heads found on nearly all weight distribution systems. Most of the time if there's an issue with a system that uses washers like yours it's because the front of the shank has a cut out section unlike this kit. So this SHOULD fit what you have but to be sure let me know what brand and model you have and I can give you a more concrete answer.
