Can I Install Advent Air Conditioner In Skylight Cut Out On Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a skylight in my bedroom if my travel trailer. If I remove the skylight will this AC work in that space?

Expert Reply:

The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part # ACM150C installs into a 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide roof opening. If you remove the skylight and the opening is smaller than 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" you can carefully cut the opening to make it larger, however it is recommended to install the unit slightly forward of the center of the center of the roof and centered from side to side. I have attached diagrams from the installation instructions for your reference.
