Question:
Please advise the difference between the Roadmaster system as you recommend and the Demco system. I am ready to make a purchase and want to buy the better system. Will either system come with complete installation instructions? What about installation video?

There is little difference between the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-524431-5 and Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM56MV, each of which fit your 2016 Ford F-150, as both base plate kits will give your truck a clean look and come with complete instructions. The photo I added is of the Roadmaster # RM-524431-5 base plates on a '16 F-150 and there is an installation video for the EZ5 base plates on a 2016 F-150 which I linked for you, though there is not one for the Demco.
The reason to go with the Roadmaster set up really is the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676, which is compatible with the EZ5 base plate kit and is the best tow bar on the market. The Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511008 is a solid option but the Nighthawk's features - its LED lights, guides for its integrated safety cables and electrical cord with 7-way plug on one end and 6-way plug on the other end - make it the best choice.
Apart from the base plate kit and tow bar the other parts you will need are:
- Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56009
- SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25
A high-low adapter may also be needed; you can check out the link to the help article I added on how to choose the correct adapter. I have also added a link to our selection of adapters, as well as links to the available install videos of some of these parts on an F-150 for you to reference.
