Question:
Thanks, Jason. One question though, My Ranger pickup is real light, do you think I could manage without the braking system?

For your 2000 Ford Ranger with manual transmission, it is flat towable but not recommended to exceed 55 mph.
For your flat towing system, I recommend starting with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 483-1 which are a custom fit for your truck. Then I recommend using the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 6,000 lbs # RM-501 which will allow you to use a standard ball mount behind your motorhome and will stow on the front of your Ranger when not in use if desired. I've attached a photo to assist. Then I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643.
For your vehicle wiring, I recommend the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56004 for easy connection and then the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 and the RoadMaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7.
Then for your supplemental braking system, I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # RM-9400 which will connect directly to your brake pedal and get power from your 12V accessory port which won't drain your battery because of the charge line kit.
