Is there a wiring diagram for your 47435 adapter? There are many configurations for both the 6 pin round and the 7 pin flat.

To see a couple diagrams that show how the 6-way to 7-way adapter part # 47435 is wired up check out the pictures I attached. The 6-way of this adapter has the center pin as the 12 volt circuit. That is the usual circuit that gets moved around on 6-ways.

The 7-way diagram you provide here is clearly incorrect. Please take it down as you are only sewing greater confusion as your diagram is one of the top 5 that google provides when someone is looking for a 7-way wiring diagram.

The pin/function locations on the above diagram are correct for a standard US 7-Way. Can you tell me what in particular you're seeing a discrepancy with? Keep in mind that the actual wire colors used for these functions on your vehicle or harness may differ, as there isn't a set standard for this across the board. That's why it's always best to test for function when hooking up a new connector.

The Roadmaster part #RM-146-7 would be longer than the Demco part #DM9523054 that you referenced. The Roadmaster is listed as having an extended length of up to 8 feet whereas the Demco is 7 feet so at 7 feet the Roadmaster would have less tension.
