Question:
Looking to purchase a 24x60 to carry snoblower/ lawn mower cargo carrier for my 2017 Toyota highlander. Whats the advantages/ disadvantages between folding and fixed? single throw snoblower and 22 in mower would fit, correct? Thanks in advance!

The advantage of a folding carrier like part # e98874 is, obviously, that it it can fold up for rear clearance when you don't have anything loaded on it. The disadvantage of a folding carrier is that since there are more hinges and connection points they can tend to have more movement.
Fixed carriers like part # C18152 that you referenced cannot, as their name suggests, fold up for storage or rear clearance, but since the shank is one solid piece they tend to have less movement.
Both of these options are quality products that have received great reviews from customers. The only other thing that I recommend getting is the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 to secure your cargo carrier and help fight any movement of the carrier in your hitch receiver.
