Looking at Cargo Basket 63153. I have 2019 Jeep Unlimited Sahara 37x13.5x20 wheels an as a spare in same size. I roughly measured from center of the hitch hole out passed of spare which was about 15inch roughly. Would it be wise to get a extender? was looking at your 8inch extender 80307

Yes, it would be wise to grab the 8 inch extender # e88YR but the Reese Cargo Carrier # 63153 isn't what you want. It lacks the tilting feature which also means it cannot fold up to your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited when not in use. The etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 can tilt and fold up! That's a feature I use alot because I don't like having to take the carrier in and out that often. With the 8 inch extension, you should be able to fold it up with no problem!
If it were me, I would spend the extra money and grab a pivoting system like the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVD20B. This will limit your cargo carrier to about 200lbs but would be neat because your carrier will swing to the drivers side and your rear door will wind to the passenger side! This will be great for camping and such! I just thought I would throw in this suggestion even though its a little more than what you really need. I've included a video to show you how it works!

Folding Cargo basket e98872 - what’s the length of the hitch shank, my spare is 37x13.5x20, watch the video, length of shank is longer, curious if I would need the 8” extension?

What do you recommend of rear lights? Looking at Curt Auxiliary LED indicator lights, reason being, not taking away from the interior room for space. Think you sold me on the cargo basket e98874 plus a price drop
