For your 2016 Honda Pilot the T-One 7-way part # 118286 is a confirmed fit. There might be a way to use this connector in the factory 7-way port on your vehicle but it's designed to mount to the bottom of your vehicle bumper. I attached a picture that shows how it normally attaches.

What other bracket is the 7-way connector bracket, PK -12711U shown in the image, attached to? I have a 2021 Honda Pilot with a CURT 13146 trailer hitch and unless I bend PK-12711U flat, it will not be able to interface with my 18136 no-drill long mounting bracket. The only thing I can think of is that the trailer hitch in the photo is a DRAW TITE 75225, which already has a welded bracket for a 7-way connector. Please advise.
