For your 2008 Honda Fit, I recommend the Curt Class I, part # C11058 that you referenced. It installs fairly quickly and easily onto your vehicle and adds a 1-1/4 inch hitch.
I recommend adding the Curt Class II Drawbar, part # C45521. This is a basic drawbar with a 3/4 inch diameter ball hole, and you'll combine this with either a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball, part # A-80 or 2 inch diameter hitch ball, part # A-82, depending on your trailer's coupler size. You'll connect this to the receiver with a class 1 pin, part # F-4.
Finally, for the wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118420. This plugs inline with your tail lights and a circuit in your trunk, effortlessly adding a 4-pole wiring connector to your vehicle. which should be appropriate for your light duty trailer.
It's extremely important that you verify your trailer's total weight and tongue weight prior to towing. Check in your Honda Fit's owner's manual for its total towing weight capacity and make sure you follow these guidelines for the best performance.
I've included our hitch installation tips, plus some general towing information for you to make your install and first tow as smooth as possible.
