This Curt trailer hitch receiver gives you a simple way to tow small loads or mount accessories without adding unnecessary weight or size. With a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening, Class I rating, 1,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight, and 150 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s right at home handling lightweight trailers, cargo carriers, or bike racks. It’s a solid choice when you need dependable towing strength for smaller jobs.
You don’t need special tools or a lift to get this hitch installed. It’s built for a custom fit to your vehicle and uses a bolt-on design—no welding required. The precision, robotic welding ensures the brackets align properly so you can line up the hardware and tighten it down without modification. The complete hardware kit and step-by-step instructions make it practical for a DIY install in a driveway or garage.
The hitch body is made from fully welded steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat. This layered finish resists rust and corrosion to keep the hitch looking sharp and working reliably through years of exposure to road grime and weather. The clean gloss surface gives it a simple look that blends in once installed.
Once mounted, the receiver accepts standard 1-1/4" Class I accessories such as drawbars, bike racks, or cargo trays. You can pick the attachment style that matches what you already own since the drawbar, pin, and clip are sold separately. Whether you’re hauling extra gear for work or heading out for a weekend ride, this hitch gives you an easy way to add useful carrying capacity whenever you need it.

It works great and was easy to install, even for a layperson. After a year there are no problems.
