Question:
My trailer does not have grease fitting on the spindle. Solid spindle. Can I install grease fitting caps and grease my wheel bearings in that fashion? This trailer has been sitting for about 5 years. There’s grease in there still.

There isn't a way to install zerk fittings on your spindle to make it an EZ lube spindle, but we do have Bearing Buddies which are designed for spindles like yours that do not have the zerk fittings to make installing grease in them easier. You have to pick them out based on the diameter of the grease cap they'd replace. So if you had the grease cap part # RG04-040 that you referenced you'd need the Bearing Buddy part # BB1980A-SS would be the kit to use. These have a grease fitting on the cap which allows you to insert grease through the cap basically.
I attached an install video for the Bearing Buddy for you to check out as well.
