The difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers # C15312 and # C15313 for your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 is that part # C15312 will work with vehicles that have the factory cutout bumper only while part # C15313 is designed to be used with models that have the 10" deep drop bumper.
Both options have the same Class V rating with a 2" receiver opening. They have a Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating of 16,000 lbs and a Tongue Weight (TW) rating of 2,400 lbs. When used with a Weight Distribution (WD) system the GTW increases to 17,000 lbs.
