Will this part fit my 3/4 ton 1985 silverado? Will it bolt up or will I have to drill holes or weld anything? Any videos?

This will fit your 1985 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup as long a you have an 8 foot bed and a deep drop bumper.

You will have to drill six 7/32 inch holes in order to install this Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C13099, but you will not need to do any welding.

If you had a 6 foot bed, you would want a Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 13028.

We have hitches that fit your 1985 Chevy C10 that has a deep bumper with the Curt hitch part #C13099. Your setup would definitely not be too low to tow with. A rise ball mount would make up for a lower hitch as well. I attached a help article

The Draw Tite hitch part #41947 that you referenced actually is height adjustable. From the mounting surface (truck frame) down to the hitch opening can be 6-5/8, 8-1/4 or 10-1/4 inches.
