Question:
have a 1973 ford f100 with factory chrome bumper I would like the top of hitch very very close to the bumper. what is your best part number for that unit

Expert Reply:
As we have not had a 1973 Ford F-100 in our shop to test fit the available receivers I can only give you the measurements from one of our receivers so that you can see where it will sit on your truck.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14082 is 5" from the top of the bolt mounting flange to the top of the receiver tube. Also this will only fit frames that are 34" wide, that is from outside frame rail to outside frame rail.
