I put this hitch on my 2017 Winnebago Vista (Base 2017 Ford F-53), I needed to update the default hitch that was only 5000lbs to flat tow my truck which was just over weight at 5600lbs and yes I double checked the max the winnie can pull which is 7500lbs. So now I have more than I need to pull the weight. As some of you may know, looking for an affordable hitch for something that is custom is difficult. I did look into the universal weld-on but that would not work either as there is a bracket that was in the way to hold the generator. I was not looking to cut and weld. This bolt-on fits great and looks good. The receiver sits just under the original location by 2 inches.

You did a great job, Ryan - it looks awesome! What are you towing now that you can unleash the full power of the Winnie?!

installed it myself
very easy to install..
you will need a second person to give you a hand..
it's been on my truck for over a year
I have never used it yet..
but the hitch is very solid..

2007 Isuzu N-Series

Installed on 2007 Isuzu NPR chassis with frame extensions for bumper brackets.
This hitch DOES fit. Actual hitch width is 33.75 inches so it fit perfectly between the bumper bracket extensions. Slid in Like buttah.
Hardware length allowed for avoiding a bolt head protruding from the frame and installing double shims from underside. Very helpful.
5.5 inch drop put receiver below the bumper. Thank you etrailer for pictured measurements.

The service I received from E trailer was outstanding! Several emails confirming the order was received, being processed, shipped, and delivered. I don’t see why anyone would want to purchase from any place else.

I purchased a used ambulance as a work vehicle for my company. Needed a hitch but not sure which one I would need because of the ambulance box. One phone call to etrailer with their friendly operator and a referral number to tech support and I had my answer. A couple of quick measurements and I had my hitch product number. Placed my order online on a Monday, hitch arrived on Wednesday. Drilled the required holes in my vehicle
and I was in business. Fantastic service! Between friends an family we have ordered at least 6 hitches and accessories over the last several years.

What are the measurements and demensions of this hitch? I understand that all of the Chevy GMC 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup frames are the same between 1967 and 1972. My truck is a 1969 C/10 long bed with the coil spring suspension. Will this hitch bolt up onto my frame without having to modify either the frame or hitch?

You will most likely still need to drill holes for the bolts to pass through the frame and the hitch. So long as your truck has 34 inch frame spacing and a standard bumper, you will not need to modify the hitch. Check out the instruction link on the product page, it will show you what is required to install the hitch. You can compare that with your frame and get a pretty good idea of how it will all go together.

Hitch fit good on a 74 Ford super camper special. There we two rivets on the frame for a crossmember that I ground down and drilled out because they were exactly where I wanted the front mounting hole on the hitch to be located. Other than that pretty good.

by:
1964 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

Have not used the trailer hitch, only installed as it was one of the early steps in the frame off restoration of my 1964 Chevy truck. It was a bit more work than the videos suggest. After ordering a second hitch that was to fit my truck, I still had to do substantial drilling. Not one hole really lined up. But it sure looks secure and substancial now! Look forward to having a bit more confidence in my hitch while towing.

I went on-line and have a very specific vehicle. I found what I think I needed & then called in. I got Jean P. & she was excellent.
She got me exactly what I needed. Hitch Receiver, Wiring Harnesses
for Lights & Brake controller, etc. She sent me an E-Mail with the specs on everything. She made it so easy, It was a No brainer.
For Quality, and Pricing, e-Trailer can't be beat. I'd use them again
anytime. Probably on e of the best Purchasing experiences I've ever had. No guesswork, No Games, It was a pleasure. Keep up the great Job!!! And, Thank you. Sincerely, Bill T. Sellersville, PA

1969 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

Two of the three holes lined up on a 1969 c20 frame. Drilled 2 holes total so I could use all 3 of the holes on the hitch frame they sent. Figured I'd rather be safe than sorry. Top of the horizontal bar is 2 inches below the frame, top of the female receiver itself is another 2 inches below that. Horizontal bar sticks out an inch past the frame but the way the holes are on the frame you can set it back in further if you choose to. The end of the female receiver is another 7 and a half inches past that so mounting it all the way back the end of the female is 8 and a half inches past the frame and 4 inches below it. On my 3/4 ton with 5 inches between the axle and the frame I got 15 inches of clearance off the ground. Arrived a day early. Solid as heck and that shackle I got on there I got off [onine vendor] for $[XX]. Even if you don't choose this one, I would say to definitely buy whatever you choose from these guys. They're as air tight as [online vendor]. Flawless order, holes lined up side to side with the factory holes in my 34 inch wide frame as advertised. Good looking welds.

by:
1987 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

Requires a bit of work to fit my 87 Chevy V20. Had to grind out two big rivets and drill four 1/2" holes in the frame. The hitch itself is very stout. Good build quality but I do wish the chain stays were a bit more beefy. At $220+ its pretty pricy and doesn't include any wiring or a ball. A great hitch and after a bit of fitting its a real clean install.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2022 Forest River Georgetown 31L5
I have a hitch that will work great for your Forest River Georgetown but the Curt item # C14082 will not fit. It's designed for a bunch of Ford and GM trucks built from 1963-1997. For your motorhome on a 2021 Ford F53 chassis, I recommend the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop item # 15901. There are no custom fit hitches for your motorhome so you will need to use a universal one. This will be a solid upgrade! The Curt item # 15901 has adjustable...

  • Is There A No-Drill Trailer Hitch For The 1968 Chevy C10?
Hello Derrick. We do offer a hitch that fits the 1968 Chevy C10, but drilling is going to be required no matter what hitch you go with. For example on the Curt Class 4 Hitch # C14082 you will need to drill 3 mounting holes on either side of the frame rail. So as long as you are down to do a bit of drilling, this hitch is definitely what I recommend. You will find the manufacturer instruction sheet linked below.
