To help you determine which wiring harness will work on your 2016 Ford F-150 you can look for the connector that's under the truck's bumper.
If the connector is round and looks like it will match up with picture # 1 that I've attached then you can use # 74682 and plug it right in to give you both a 7-way and 4-way trailer connector.
If you find a connector that is more rectangular like in picture # 2 then you can use # C56110 which will give you a 4-way connector. If this is the case and your trailer has brakes you'll also need to add a 7-way. From here use our # ETBC7 kit which includes the 7-way connector as well as the wiring needed for a brake controller.
If you also need a brake controller I suggest the Prodigy P2 # 90885 with the plug in harness # 22292. There will be a connector under the dash of your truck for this to plug into.
The trailer hitch receiver I suggest is the Curt # C26HR. It's a solid hitch that's confirmed to fit your truck with the factory bumper hitch.
