Both the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-4 and the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-5 will fit your 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited if it does not have an aftermarket bumper, winch, or guards.

I recommend the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-4. The Roadmaster EZ series base plates are our most popular base plates. They will fit all the Roadmaster tow bars and they have the hidden bracket design. The EZ5 series base plates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball. The base plate kits are very similar in features, but the EZ4 series base plates do not have any limitations that the EZ5 base plates have.

Besides the base plates you will also need the tow bar, safety cables, and the wiring for the lights.

I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. The non-binding feature allows the telescopic tow arms to adjust independently and center the car automatically and lock in place. It has a 6,000 lbs. weight capacity and comes with the Quick Disconnects which allow you to connect the tow bar to the vehicle fast and easy. It also can be folded up out of the way if not being used. I am sending a video link of a review on the # RM-520 tow bar.

You also need the RoadMaster 68 Inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, # RM-643, these safety cables keep the vehicle attached to the tow vehicle in case it becomes detached.

For lighting, you can wire your vehicle using Roadmaster Universal Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. The other option would be to use Magnetic Towing Light Kit # RM-2120, which are lights that attach to your vehicle using magnets. If you are going to be towing your Jeep Wrangler often I would recommend using # RM-154, as you would just plug in your vehicle after the initial install. I am sending a video link of this wiring kit being installed on a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The vehicle is different, but the wiring principle is the same.

A supplemental braking system is another component that is required in most states. I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251because it is easy to setup each time you tow.

When flat towing a vehicle you will want to check your owners manual or with the manufacturer for instructions on the proper procedure for towing your 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, because some vehicles must be equipped with a transmission lube pump, an axle disconnect, drive line disconnect, or free-wheeling hubs before they can be towed.

I did find that Jeep required the battery of your Wrangler Unlimited to be disconnected for towing. To make this process easier, I recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect # RM-766 to be able to disconnect the battery with the flip of a switch.
